The Rough set approach is an important tool to deal with uncertain
or vague knowledge in AI applications. In this paper, the Rough set theory isfurther researched, and the methods of Rough set theory that are suitable for theproblems of attribute analysis and knowledge discovery in automobile breakdowndiagnosis are summarized and proposed.
